Fashion In The Key Of "G"

When it comes to fashion I am very critical. Fashion takes a big part of my life. It all started when I was a young boy, around 13 years old if I recall. The obsession started when my older cousin and best friend introduced me to the concept of individuality. From that day on it would never be the same for me. Also with that being a part of my nature since I'm a Leo it was only a given. I've always been fascinated with being an individual. So almost everyday I look at different fashions, wether it be in magazines, online, or on the streets. I always try to be creative in trying to do something new. The way I look at fashion now is that I try to take it to that level where it can't be reached."Untouchable" you might say. I believe in quality and not quantity. It's better to have 3 great pairs of jeans than to have 50 pairs of cheap jeans. It's better to have a timeless timepiece than to have dated watches. And that goes for everything else, tops, shoes, accessories, so on and so on. It's also better not to follow fashions and fads that last for a short period of time. In my opinion it's better to be timeless, no matter what year, time, place, you will always look like you belong there.
I know there are countless numbers of brands out there in the retail world. Hundreds and hundreds of brands that swear that they are what's happening. I only believe in a few. Levi's is my number one choice of denim. It's timeless, and it fits well. It's also respectable everywhere  in the world. When it comes to footwear I would have to go with Nike and Converse, they've been around forever and their styles are versatile. With head wear it's hands down Brixton and Goorin, very high quality gear for your dome.
There is a new brand out there that are turning heads and I give my full respect to them. It's the brand Black Scale. There has not been a better brand out there like Black Scale that came out in a long time. Their pieces express religion, politics, society, war, and controversial issues that everybody else is scared to touch. It's not your typical street wear, they show individuality. If your ever in the Union Square area in Downtown San Francisco I recommend that you stop by and check out their boutique. Much props to Mega by the way, you guys are doing it big and I hope it gets greater. Thanks to the Black Ops family for changing the game.
To close this blog, I just want to leave you with one of my favorite quotes....."Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
